Bridgewater College is accepting
applications for the position of Assistant Sports Information and Promotions
Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include serving as the primary
contact for several sports and assisting the Sports Information Director in all
aspects of the Department’s operation.
This includes, but is not limited to development of media guides, game
programs, news releases and the college’s athletic web site; dissemination of
game results; research and maintenance of statistics; and responding to media
requests.
QUALIFICATIONS: This is a 12 month position reporting to the Director
of Sports Information. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience as a sports information intern,
graduate assistant or student assistant or experience in a related field
preferred. Excellent writing and
publication skills required. Experience
with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop and Statecrew
preferred.
