The Art Major
All art majors take a core of foundation level studio and art history courses and select one of three tracks for more advanced work.
- Traditional Media Track - Drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics
- Digital Media/Photography Track - Digital and analog photography
- Digital Media/Graphic Design Track - Computers as art and design tools
Seniors complete their work with two capstone courses, Senior Seminar (fall semester) and Thesis Exhibition (spring semester).
The Art Minor
There are three possible art minor tracks:
- Traditional Media track
- Digital Media Track
- Art History and Criticism Track

Seven exciting new courses in digital media and photography are being offered including beginning and advanced courses in photography (digital and chemical darkrooms), graphic design, and web design. |
