Dr. L. Michael Hill, H.G.M., Emeritus
Dr. Hill retired at the end of the 2006-2007 school year. He taught at Bridgewater for 35 years. He is a botanist who continues to be active in a variety of capacities, including memberships in the Shenandoah Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant society, which he founded, the Shenandoah Company of the Jamestowne Society, and Bridgewater United Methodist Church.
He is currently composing a contribution to the Web Site of the Virginia Flora Manual, which will come out in 2010, that being the Chromosome Number Index of the Virginia Flora. Otherwise, he pursues his various hobbies and interests as he continues to live in the Bridgewater area.
