Lambda Pi Eta, the official Communication Studies honor society of the National Communication Association, is named for the three components of persuasion that Aristotle described in his book, Rhetoric. These three components are the following: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility and ethics represent the key components of communication study.

- and explore options for further graduate studies.
