My internship
with WHSV has given me insight into whether or not I really want
to be in the news business. From the internship I have learned that
I can do without being on camera. I think it has shown me
that I don't need to be in the spotlight. I'd much rather work
behind the scenes and let a story tell itself. Without this
internship I would have never gotten to experience ALL of the positions
that interest me in television news." ~Terri Baker, Class of '07
Internships are a valuable way to
gain experience in an area of work you may want to pursue. Communication Studies encompasses a wide variety of fields, so a better
way to know what you want to do with your degree is to find an internship
and get hands-on experience. By having a firsthand knowledge of
your field of interest, you may be able to better decide what sort of job
you will want to look for once you graduate from Bridgewater
College. Internships are also a good way to enhance your
resume. Both the general
internship searches and the specific
internship websites are provided below to help you find an internship.
Before you begin your
internship, you need to know all of the internship
requirements so you can receive full credit for your
