Study Abroad -- English majors as well as other Bridgewater students can participate in the Brethren Colleges Abroad program and study for a semester or a year in England at the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education.
Philomathean -- The Philomathean is an annual academic journal in which students may publish their writing.
Veritas -- Veritas is Bridgewater College's weekly newspaper.
The Standard Bearers of Alternative Time -- This is a campus-wide organization for the promotion of science fiction and fantasy.
Internships -- Many Bridgewater students find that the College's internship program provides a great way to gain practical professional experience. In recent years, English majors have served internships at a law firm, a public television station, and a local newspaper.
Writing Center -- English majors and good writers from any major may work as tutors. |
