Jamie Frueh
Jamie Frueh is an Associate Professor of History and Political Science at Bridgewater College, where he teaches courses in international and world politics. He is also the director of the Flory Fellowship of Scholars, Bridgewater’s Honors Program. From 2000 to 2006, Dr. Frueh designed and ran month-long program in leadership and community service for university students from Cyprus. The programs were funded by the U.S. Department of State and held at American University. He has taught international students both in the U.S. and abroad and has run international travel/service programs for American students in Jamaica and South Africa.
He has a Bachelor's of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Doctorate in International Relations from American University. He is the author of Political Identity and Social Change and multiple other texts on identity, conflict and pedagogy. His most recent research is on HIV prevention messages, their authorship and how they circulate between global organizations and local contexts.
