Jazz Band Information
Description: Approximately 20 players. The group specializes in music from all styles of the jazz idiom. The Jazz Band performs regularly on campus and tours regionally during the early summer.
Meeting times: Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30pm, Carter Center Room 1.
Prerequisite: Students must have played in their high school band and preferably their high school jazz band. Home-schooled students must have had private lessons or other performance experience on their instrument. An audition may be required.
