Mary Beth Flory, Instructor in Music, received her Master of Music degree with a concentration in music education from James Madison University in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Bridgewater College in 1970.

She has taught private piano and voice lessons in her home since 1973 and currently teaches 40 students per week. Before teaching privately, Professor Flory taught elementary music in Augusta County. Professor Flory has been an adjunct faculty member at Bridgewater College since 1989 where she teaches applied piano and occasionally voice lessons. She currently serves as pianist at the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren, a position she has held since 1971. In addition she serves as a substitute organist and choir director.

Professor Flory serves as an accompanist to Bridgewater College junior and senior recitalists each year. She has done this since graduating from the college in 1970. She has served as an accompanist for district choir auditions and All City/County Choir performances.

Mary Beth Flory is married to Ted Flory. They have three children - Brian, Kevin, and Jolene.
