Earning honors credit in a
non-designated honors course
A student may upgrade a class by speaking with
the professor and
working out a program to make the class honors. A student may
make a class honors by adding primary readings, papers, speaking
opportunities, projects, labs, experiments, or field experiences.
There is no cap on how many classes a student can make honors.
Application to enroll for credit in a course linkage
Course linkage is an examination of the
relationship and connections between
two courses in different disciplines. Students complete a major
paper or project that integrates concepts and themes of the two courses.
Application to enroll in the
Honors Program
For students who would like to apply to be in
the Flory Fellowship
of Scholars that were not admitted in the program as freshman.
Must have minimum GPA of 3.4.
