Interterm, also referred to as January or J-term, is an intensive three week academic session that gives students the opportunity to move ahead in their academic studies. Focus is on a single course and students can earn 1 to 4 credits. Traditional and speciality classes are offered during Interterm. Travel courses are also offered and emphasize history, language, culture, communications, philosophy, art and music. In recent years, students have travelled to Polynesia, England, Europe, France, Australia, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Spain, South Africa, Greece, Italy, and Los Angeles. |
