Congratulations on being accepted to Bridgewater College! Once your final decision on attending Bridgewater is made, you will join a class of entering students who are just as smart, dedicated, interesting, and friendly as you are. And, you will become part of a legacy of leaders -- graduates who have gone on to achieve tremendous success in their personal and professional lives.
As a new member of the Bridgewater community, you're probably wondering, "What's next?" That's a good question, and we have the answers. The first step is to pay your deposit so you can sign up for orientation, register for classes, and receive housing information. We encourage you to pay your deposit once you are certain you want to attend Bridgewater. The deposit is refundable until May 1.
You'll then want to make plans to attend our spring, summer, or fall Freshmen and Transfer Student Orientations. These programs introduce you to the Bridgewater community.
During the fall orientation, you'll move into the residence hall, register for classes, complete financial aid paperwork, purchase books, obtain your college ID, get set up with technology on campus, and finish other details relevant to the admissions process. The three-day event also includes a picnic, dean's welcome, meetings, special dinners, service projects, dances, concerts, movies, worship services, career exploration events, and much more.
We also can fill you in on what to bring to campus to ensure that move-in day goes as smoothly as possible. If, after reading the pages in this section, you still have questions, just call the Admissions Office at 800-759-8328 or e-mail. |
