Favorite Things about
Bridgewater College: One of my favorite things about Bridgewater is the
physical campus. The grounds have such an abundance of plant life that one of my
biology professors used the campus as their classroom. Instead of solely using
a textbook, we actually walked around campus identifying trees and flowers.
Advice about College
Search: It is never too early to begin thinking about college. The
earlier you start, the more opportunities you have to visit and learn about the
colleges you find intriguing. I recommend that you visit any school you
are interested in more than once. Do something different each time you visit –
take a tour, observe a class, eat in the dining hall. By researching your
prospective schools at great length you will be able to make a more informed
decision. Choose a college that meets your needs, where you feel comfortable
and confident.
Brief Personal Section: I enjoy reading, hiking, camping,
playing racquetball and church softball. I am active in both my local Boy Scout
Troop and my Church Youth Group as an adult leader. One day I hope to hike the
Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia.
