Favorite Thing About Bridgewater College:
Bridgewater College is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley - what
could be better! We enjoy four beautiful seasons! Even more
important, the community atmosphere at Bridgewater College is so uplifting and
encouraging. I enjoy getting to know the people who surround me and the
students I have an opportunity to meet and work with.
Advice About College Search: My advice is for prospective
transfer students – please plan ahead! Contact the transfer counselor at
the four-year college or university of your choice ASAP. Seek their advice as
to what courses will transfer and satisfy their graduation requirements. Learn as much as you can about their academic
policies, financial aid packages, housing requirements, etc. Be diligent about completing your application
and staying in touch. Your opportunities and options will be greater if
you are well informed and complete the application process early.
Brief Personal Section: I love spending time with
family, especially babysitting my little granddaughter. In the spring I
enjoy flower gardening; in the fall and winter I like to come inside and focus
on remodeling projects.
