Favorite Thing About Bridgewater College: We have one
of the most beautiful campuses around , complete with a nice mix of older and
newer facilities. Our community has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Everyone
says hello and takes a genuine interest in others. We try to support and help
each member become the best that they can be.
Advice about College
Search: Be sure to visit campus on more than one occasion. Make sure
to spend time in the college community when students are there and classes are
in session. One of the best ways to determine a college’s atmosphere is by
attending classes, meeting professors, and talking to students. Find a
college that is the best fit for YOU. When you attend, get involved and take
advantage of all the opportunities offered to you. College is a time to grow in
all areas of your life.
Brief Personal Section: I am a native of Hot Springs, VA. I first came
to Bridgewater as a student and later joined the admissions staff in 1989. My
experiences as a Bridgewater student had a tremendous, positive impact on my
life. I enjoy meeting students and encouraging them to take advantage of the
opportunities Bridgewater College offers. My hobbies include running,
weight lifting, playing basketball and golf. You can also find me serving
as the announcer for football and basketball games at BC. In addition, I
enjoy writing and traveling. My wife, Andrée, and I were married on May
31, 2008 in Texas.
