Homecoming at Bridgewater is an exciting weekend. I love spending time with my college friends, retired faculty, recent alumni, and the current college community. It is a wonderful experience!
Advice about the
college search: Your friends and family can be a good source of
information about colleges/universities and their programs. But you
should NOT stop your search with their point of view. Discover and
explore colleges and universities that are of particular interest to you.
Visit a variety of college campuses. While there, meet with an Admissions
Counselor to receive current information about the college and their academic
programs. Be sure to also talk with students and faculty, and explore the
campus on a tour. You may also find that attending an official college
Open House or Visitation Day is helpful. Throughout this process be aware of
your feelings – find a college or university that makes you comfortable.
Brief Personal Section: I enjoy spending time with people. I am blessed
to live only a short drive from the college campus. Consequently, you
will often see me cheering at sporting events, enjoying music programs and
lyceums, laughing at plays and movies, and listening to interesting convocation
speakers throughout the school year. It is great to be a part of
such an active community.
I like spending time outside - working with flowers,
hiking, and camping. My favorite getaway is The Shenandoah National Park.
