Orientation Directions


Bridgewater College's 190-acre campus is located in the heart of the beautiful and historic Shenandoah Valley, seven miles south of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The College is an easy 2-hour drive from the educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities of Washington, D.C., Richmond, and Roanoke.

If you are traveling on I-81, use the Mt. Crawford-Bridgewater exit (Exit 240) and follow State Route 257, which is the northern boundary of the campus.

You can also fly into the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (listed as Staunton airport) on U.S. Air from Pittsburgh, PA. or on United Express from Washington's Dulles Airport. Auto rental service is available. Shuttle service is also available between the airport and the college. Please call the Admissions Office for details.
