Virginia Private College Week
|
During the week of July 26-31, 2010, Bridgewater College will be one of the hosts for Virginia Private College Week. This week is sponsored by CICV (Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia) and is a great opportunity for students to visit Bridgewater's campus. Throughout the week we will be offering a morning (9am) and afternoon session (2pm). On Saturday there will be a morning session (9am) only. Students visiting Bridgewater during this week will have the chance to converse with professors, admissions staff, and receive a campus tour lead by a current BC student. A tour of the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center will be available each day during Virginia Private College Week at 11:30 a.m. only. This will allow those who are interested to visit the facility after the 9 a.m. morning session and tour or before the 2 p.m. afternoon session. Students can also save money by participating in Virginia Private College Week. If students visit three private colleges during this week, they will receive three application fee waivers to any of the 24 private institutions in Virginia. Students obtain a "passport" at the first college they visit. It will then be stamped at each additional college they visit throughout the week.
