Many of the College's supporters choose to make charitable gifts of securities to Bridgewater College because it can be a wonderful way to help with the College's most urgent priorities and possibly reduce personal capital gains or estate taxes for the donor. We appreciate your interest in supporting Bridgewater College with a gift of stock.

Transfer Instructions for Broker-Held Certificates

• Either you, your broker, or financial advisor should contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at Bridgewater College with the following information:
  
  
  • Full name and address of donor
  • Name of broker or financial advisor who will handle the transaction
  • Name of the stock, including symbol
  • Number of shares you would like to contribute

• To wire transfer shares of broker-held certificates, contact one of the following brokerage firms:

Please make sure the broker includes your name on the instructions. Please have your broker send a letter to Bridgewater College in care of the Office of Institutional Advancement confirming the following information:

• Full name of donor
• Official date of transfer
• Name, including symbol, and number of shares

Transfer Instructions for Individually-Held Certificates

If you have possession of stock certificates, send the unendorsed certificate to the Office of Institutional Advancement at Bridgewater College to the address below.

In a separate envelope, send a signed stock power (available from BC or from your financial services provider), to the same address.

Because the postmark determines the date of the gift, it is important to mail both envelopes on the same day.
