MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Office of Alumni Relations is to foster and enhance beneficial relationships between BridgewaterCollege and its alumni, and to serve and promote the interest and welfare of the College while supporting its mission of educating and developing the whole person.
VISION STATEMENT
Serve, inform, connect, and engage the alumni of BridgewaterCollege in an effort to cultivate a strong and vibrant community through active lifelong relationships.
1. Serve: To serve alumni by providing transformative and diverse events, programs, and services that they desire and find "value added" in. To enhance the College's reputation by seeking out and promoting alumni success stories in which the College's mission of educating and developing the whole person is demonstrated. In an effort to increase the financial strength of the College, serve in identifying and cultivating persons who can provide financial and career resources. To perpetuate a sense of pride in and commitment to the outstanding qualities of the College and to keep alive the spirit of affection and reverence for the College.
2. Inform: To be the primary conduit for keeping alumni updated and informed with current news, events, and happenings of the BC community and its members. To utilize technology and other mediums to provide timely, high quality, and succinct communications. To educate, promote and communicate the College's traditions, purposes, growth and development.
3. Connect: To provide opportunities for and encourage alumni and friends to connect with each other and to the College and its students.
4. Engage: To foster and grow alumni engagement by seeking out and providing ways they can actively and meaningfully engage with the College and the BC community. We also seek to enhance the College's reputation through engaging alumni in their local communities.
