The Valley All-Star Basketball Camp is under the direction of Bridgewater College Basketball staff which includes Bill Leatherman, PW Weller, and Kinley Simmers. Our camp staff is comprised of BC players, area coaches and other college players. The camp operates with a strict eight-to-one coach/player ratio, and campers are grouped according to age, size and skill level.

A week at camp offers both a memorable camping experience and the best instruction in the fundamentals of basketball.

The Valley All-Star Camp staff places considerable emphasis on teaching team play, sportsmanship, the rules of the game, nutrition, and personal fitness and motivation, as well as playing skills. By keeping enrollments to manageable levels, individual instruction is stressed.

The staff plans daily group skills sessions to include both well-demonstrated instruction and plenty of time for individual mastery, based on age and ability.

Parents of past campers have told us of their satisfaction with their child's experience at Valley All-Star Camp. The most up-to-date basketball techniques are taught as well as other aspects of growing up which are inseparable from the camp experience.

Valley All-Star Basketball is in its 17th year, and while our numbers have continued to go up we pledge to maintain our 8-to-1 player to coach ratio. This enables us to carefully supervise our campers, while at the same time continue to teach the fundamentals of the game.

Our Shooting Camp has filled to capacity each year. Register early as some campers were turned away due to enrollment limits.

We strive to operate our camp on a personal basis. If parents or campers have questions or concerns, please give us a call.
