  • ThomasBridgewater College junior Chris Thomas was named to the VaSID College Division men's soccer all-state first team released Wednesday.

    Thomas ranked among the leaders in the ODAC in goals and assists. He was sixth in goals scored with seven and second in assists with seven. [All-State team]

  • ThomasLineberryBridgewater College junior Chris Thomas was named to the All-ODAC Men’s Soccer first team released Friday.

    Thomas ranked among the conference leaders in goals and assists. He was sixth in goals scored with seven and second in assists with seven.

    Bridgewater junior goalkeeper Zane Lineberry was named honorable mention on the All-ODAC team.
  • Hornets blank Eagles - 10/23/2007

  • men soccer logoLynchburg College defeated the Bridgewater College Eagles, 3-0, Tuesday afternoon in ODAC men's soccer action.

    Bridgewater goalkeeper Zane Lineberry kept the Eagles close for most of the contest as he faced a barrage of shots from the Hornets and finished with 13 saves.

    The Eagles finished their season with a 3-15 overall record and a 1-8 mark in the conference.
  • Marymount defeats Eagles, 4-1 - 10/20/2007

  • ThomasMarymount University handed Bridgewater College a 4-1 defeat Saturday night in men’s soccer action.

    The Eagles scored first when Chris Thomas assisted on Shane O’Donnell’s goal at the 3:28 mark. Andrew Stearns scored twice for the Saints, giving the hosts a 2-1 lead at the break. Justin Domes and Paul Decker added second-half goal to complete the Marymount scoring.

    With the loss, the Eagles drop to 3-14 on the season.
  • Maroons turn back Eagles, 4-2 - 10/17/2007

  • men soccer logoRoanoke College defeated Bridgewater College, 4-2, in ODAC men's soccer action Wednesday night.

    Chris Thomas scored both goals for the Eagles.

    Bridgewater is now 3-12 overall and 1-7 in the ODAC. The Eagles are back in action Saturday night when they travel to play Marymount in non-conference action.
