Blue Ridge 1st Floor Lounge (across from the RD apartment)
Accessing the wireless network requires an 802.11b or 802.11g wireless network adapter.Windows XP with service pack 2 (SP2) should be installed for access (Windows 2000 machines - may- be compatible).
Before accessing the wireless network, you will need to visit the IT Center or download a request form, to acquire a special digital certificate.The digital certificates are necessary to validate your system's identity to the wireless network.Your request for a digital certificate will be processed, and you will be notified by campus e-mail when the files are ready for installation.PLEASE ALLOW ONE WEEK FOR YOUR REQUEST TO BE PROCESSED.

Students are not permitted to install and/or utilize their own network services, wireless access points, network switches, routers or hubs in the residence halls.Using such devices can cause your dorm connection to function improperly.It can also disrupt the connection of students in other rooms and even in other dorms.
