Academic Affairs

Welcome to the Office of Academic Affairs, where we strive to provide the enriching, challenging, and supportive academic environment for which Bridgewater College has been known for over 125 years. Rooted in the liberal arts, Bridgewater's traditional and pre-professional academic programs prepare graduates for fulfilling lives and successful careers in a rapidly changing world. The faculty members who participate in these programs are committed teachers and active advisors whose first priority is student learning.

In additional to overseeing these programs and the teaching/advising faculty, the Office of Academic Affairs seeks also to provide a range of services to support students' academic needs. Among these services are the Academic Support Center, the Writing Center, and the Office of the Registrar. You may get to the Academics section of our site by clicking here. Questions about any of those services, or about any other academic concern, may be directed to Dr. Robert B. Andersen Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, at 540-828-5350.
