For many students,
career development started in high school. Students often start
Bridgewater College with a declared major and a clear career goal;
others have an idea, but are still thinking about it; and there are
still those who have no idea what major to choose. Regardless of
where your child is in the decision-making process, the Office Career
Services is here to help make the process effective and successful,
while in school and beyond graduation.
Career exploration
starts in the Freshman year and continues well past graduation. It
happens in stages, starting with exploration and discovery and ending
with clear career goals and a plan of action. The Office of Career
Services can help your child prepare for success, whether the goal is
entrance into employment or admittance into graduate school.
The
Office of Career Services encourages you to review the Four-Year
Action Plan,
as well as other areas of the Career Services webpage to support your
student's career development efforts.
We welcome you to lend
your support by becoming involved in Career Services activities.
Many opportunities exist to participate in events and services that
will positively impact your student as well as his or her fellow
Eagles.
