Outdoor Equipment Rental


Policies for Equipment Usage
  • Equipment is available for check out by students,faculty members and staff with a valid BC ID. Theuse of equipment is at the discretion of the Directorof Outdoor Programs.
  • Equipment should be returned clean and in workingorder. A cleaning or replacement fee may beassessed if necessary.
  • The user of the equipment is asked not to makeany functional or structural alterations to theequipment without consent of the Director. Fieldrepairs may be necessary—these should bereported upon return.
  • Damaged, broken or lost equipment is theresponsibility of the user. Repair or replacementcosts may be charged to the user.
  • Bridgewater is not responsible for accidents or injurydue to improper use of the equipment. Checkingout equipment implies knowledge of its proper useand precautions (i.e. stoves, tents, etc.)
  • Canoes must be reserved at least 3 days in advance.
