Life outside the classroom
Life at Bridgewater is about more than classes, books, and professors. We believe learning involves the whole person and extends beyond the four walls of a classroom. What you experience outside of class is just as important as what you experience in class.
BC offers a wide range of campus activities nearly every day of the week.
 Athletics
Support the BC Eagles by attending one of our many sports events, including: football, basketball, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, softball, track & field, tennis, lacrosse, and more!
 Clubs, Organizations and Honor Societies
Become an active part of the Bridgewater community. We have over 70 social, cultural, religious, and academic clubs and organizations. Most students on campus are involved in at least one club or organization, and many are engaged in several.
 Convocations
Convocations at Bridgewater College invigorate connections in the community and affirm the College mission to "educate the whole person." In order to facilitate this, a wide variety of programs, including films, speakers, presentations, campus worship, musical and other performances, and travel experiences, are offered. Further, these programs deal with a plethora of important social issues.
 Eagle Productions (EP)
A student-run organization that plays a huge role in the diverse range of weekend activities available to students at no charge. Events range from comedians and musicians to Homecoming festivities and the Springfest Carnival to game shows and movie nights. You can even join EP and organize your own event.
 Intramurals
The intramural program provides recreational activities and competitions that are open to all students. Why get involved with intramurals? Free t-shirts to champions, exercise and fitness, social interaction, competition and sportsmanship, leadership development, stress release and to have fun!
 Music Ensembles
Ensembles are open to students in all majors, and academic credit is given for participation in most groups. Ensembles include: oratorio choir, concert choir, chorale, handbell choir, symphonic band, jazz band, chamber music ensembles and pep band.
 Outdoor Programs
Bridgewater College is committed to providing fun-filled, educational and challenging adventures to all members of the BC community regardless of skill level. These include: rock climbing, hiking, white water rafting, mountain biking, canoeing, skiing and more.
 Student Government
The student body is organized into the administrative, legislative, and judicial branches. Through its president and appointed student members of faculty committees, students are also involved in many aspects of College operations.
 Theatre Productions
Includes productions put on by Bridgewater College, the Pinion Players, student-directed plays and more.
