Find Articles

  • The first step in finding articles is to find citations
  • Find Citations to Articles by using

    eResources

  • Find Journals available from the Library by using

    ALEX (for journals in print)

Periodical Locator (for journals online and in print)

  • Once you have found citations, follow these steps to find the articles:

    1. If there is a link to the full-text in the database you are using, just click on that and you are done! If not.....
    2. Use the Periodical Locator to see if the Library has the journal in which the article was published in print or online. If a link appears to the journal you want, click on it and follow the links to find the issue that has the article you want.
    3. Use your favorite search engine and find the home page for the journal. Some publishers provide limited free access to articles online.
    4. Use the Interlibrary Loan service.
