The following workshops will be offered in Bowman 310, the Writing Center. The presentation will last 15 minutes.

Workshops on Avoiding Plagiarism
Paraphrasing, Summarizing, Quoting, Citing

Thursday, Feb. 9:

Citations and Bibliographies in MLA Format, APA Format, or CMS (Chicago Manual of Style) Format
In-text Citations, Notes, Bibliography

Thursday, Feb. 16:
4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.

Additional workshops will be scheduled later in the semester.

Students taking the workshop to fulfill a course requirement will be asked to consult a tutor for review of their use and citation of sources in their papers, or to write a short paper using sources made available by the workshop leader, to demonstrate their understanding of acceptable use of sources and documentation techniques.
