Education: Ph.D in History, The University of Texas at Austin; M.A. in History, The University of Texas at Austin; B.A. in History, Lewis & Clark College

Teaching Fields: Twentieth Century World; Modern Britain; British Imperialism; Modern India and Pakistan; Afghanistan, Central Asia, and the Great Powers

Research Interests: British Imperialism in the Indian Subcontinent and the Indian Ocean Basin. Publications include Ramparts of Empire: British Imperialism and India’s Afghan Frontier, 1918-1948 (London: Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).
