Roy W. Ferguson, Jr.
Roy Ferguson is the executive vice president of Bridgewater College. Before joining the College in 2003, Mr. Ferguson practiced law for 20 years in Harrisonburg, Virginia. His areas of practice included estate planning and administration, business and tax-exempt entity representation, health care, real estate and finance, and civil litigation (primarily professional malpractice) in both state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Ferguson graduated with honors from the University of Virginia, and received his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jackson L. Kiser, Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Mr. Ferguson is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
