Bridgewater College is seeking 2 part-time Campus Safety Officers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides security and protective services to the campus community by patrolling assigned buildings and grounds. Informs and warns violators of rule infractions and investigates complaints, accidents, and any incidents of suspicious nature. Provides crowd and traffic control during scheduled activities and/or emergency situations. Maintains a daily log, prepares and submits incident reports and conducts inspections of campus buildings and utility equipment. Must be flexible and available to work all shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Position requires extensive physical activity. Experience and Virginia CSO certification preferred. Candidates are subject to a comprehensive police background investigation.
