The Bridgewater College Theatre Program provides an opportunity for students to become well-rounded and intellectually informed performing artists. Annually, theatre faculty and students produce and direct two main stage productions.
Theatrical production develops student talent and allows students to experience a wide array of theatre genres. Students become involved in all aspects of theatrical production, from directing and acting to designing and playwrighting. There are resources in the department to help students find career opportunities in the field.
The student-run theatre organization, the Pinion Players, provides another outlet for students to become involved in theatre at Bridgewater College. Students in Pinion Players have the chance to lead and organize various theatre projects, including children's theatre productions and an annual one act festival.
The Eta Upsilon cast of Alpha Psi Omega, the international theatre fraternity, recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in the theatre program at Bridgewater College.
