Praxis: Core Academic Skills for Educators (5751): Reading [taken concurrently with the other two Praxis Core Academic Skills tests; if you do not pass the reading test, can retake as a standalone test (5712)] $135 for combined test; $85 each for standalone tests You may need this test if you plan to teach outside of Virginia 156; May be exempted with an SAT score of 530 or ACT score of 22 in reading OR a score of 235 on the reading section of the VCLA --- ---

Praxis Elementary Education: Content Knowledge (Paper—0014; Computer—5014)

This test became obsolete on June 30, 2014. Scores of 143 or higher from up until this date will still be accepted. If you are seeking licensure with a PreK-6 endorsement and did not take or pass this assessment prior to July 1, 2014, you must now take the Praxis Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects assessment instead.

Praxis Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects (5031) [if you do not pass the one of the subject area tests, can retake as a standalone test (Reading and Language Arts: 5032; Mathematics: 5033; Social Studies: 5034; Science: 5035)] $150 for Multiple Subjects Test; $50 for each standalone test All TEP candidates seeking licensure with a PreK-6 endorsement
