Teaches music theory, composition, and applied piano and organ.

Dr. Larry Taylor is associate professor of music at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia where he teaches piano, organ, music theory and the history of American music. The choir at Luray UMC has given performances of two Christmas cantatas composed by Dr. Taylor, and his staged song cycle Marie Curie (text by Tom Noe) was premiered in 2009 by Dr. Dorothy Maddison. His latest composition, the opera Eros and Psyche (with libretto by Tom Noe), had its first performance at Bridgewater College in 2011. In addition to solo recitals on piano and organ, Larry has arranged and performed accompaniments on organ for the silent films The Gold Rush and One Week.

Dr. Christine Ennis Carrillo is the director of instrumental music and director of bands at Bridgewater College where she directs the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble and Screamin' Eagle Pep Band.  She also teaches courses in music education, conducting and applied trumpet lessons. Dr. Carrillo has previously served on the faculties of James Madison University, Texas A&M University-Kingsville (where she was a two-time recipient of the Chancellor's Teaching Excellence Award), The Victoria College and the Austin Independent School District.  Dr. Carrillo has adjudicated festivals and contests at all levels from high school to college in Illinois, Texas, Virginia, and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As a Conn-Selmer trumpet artist, Dr. Carrillo has given performances at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the City Recital Hall Angel Place in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. John McCarty is an assistant professor of music and director of choral music at Bridgewater College where he conducts the Bridgewater College Oratorio Choir, Concert Choir and Chorale; teaches courses in musicology, music education and conducting; and directs the BC A Cappella Choir and the Lift Your Voice Gospel Choir. As a professional chorister, he was a cantor and section leader at St. Olaf Catholic Church (Minneapolis, MN) and performed with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale (St. Paul, MN). In addition to his work at Bridgewater College, Dr. McCarty is currently the music director at Clover Hill United Methodist Church (Dayton, VA) and conducts the Page County Community Chorus and the Main Street Singers (both in Luray, VA).
