What brought you to BC?

I spent four years working in an admissions office as a student worker while in college so after graduating, I not only wanted to return to the Shenandoah Valley, but I wanted to continue working in admissions.  I have never felt like an outsider here at Bridgewater; the faculty, staff and students alike are dedicated to making everyone feel like they are a part of the Bridgewater family.

What advice do you have about the college search process?

As a recent college student myself, I understand that the admissions process can seem chaotic and stressful at times, but I work with a wonderful group of people here at Bridgewater that can help make the transition easier for you.   My number one piece of advice is don’t be scared to ask questions!  As you review college websites, learn about scholarships and investigate programs, jot down anything you may be uncertain about and feel free to call or email us!  I also encourage you to visit campus.  You can set up a personal interview so we can go over any questions you may have and then you can take a tour of our beautiful campus here in the Shenandoah Valley to get a feel of what it would be like to actually be a Bridgewater College student!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is hearing students talk about how coming to Bridgewater is the best decision they ever made.  College is an exciting time!  I think that the sense of community that you get here at Bridgewater will win you over and make you feel like you’re at home!  Please let me know if there is any way I can help you through your admissions process, I look forward to meeting you in your area or here on campus soon!
