What brought you to BC?
As a BC alum, I’m excited to return to campus and pursue my passion for helping young adults! It’s such an exciting time – deciding where to go to college, what programs to get involved in, what classes to register for, and many times being away from home for the first time. During my time as a student at BC, I gained experiences and relationships that have lasted far beyond my four years of college. And that’s what drew me back to campus. Returning to work in the BC admissions office feels like I’m coming back home to join my BC family. And as an admissions counselor, I’m looking forward to assisting many future Eagles and their families with this important life transition and hoping to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible!
What advice do you have about the college search process?
Start early. And visit the campus. As a junior in high school, it may feel like college is in a far off distant land – but the sooner you start your search, the better! Start taking a look online at different colleges to see what works for you. What you like on a college campus may be different for your best friend, so decide what works for YOU. Keep in mind it’s where you’ll be spending the next four years of your life! With that said – visit the campus while school is in session. This is the best way to find out if the campus ‘feels’ like the right fit for you.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Meeting with prospective students and their family is always an exciting time. I’m looking forward to assisting high school juniors and seniors and their parents throughout the college search process. The most rewarding part will be seeing students I’ve met either out on the road or interviewed on campus become BC Eagles.
