What brought you to BC?
Like many high school students deciding where they want to spend their undergraduate years, I had no idea. I visited 6 different colleges and universities. No other campus could compare to Bridgewater. Everyone was so friendly, the campus was beautiful, and being from a small town, I felt like I was at home on Bridgewater’s campus. The involvement on our campus and the surrounding community is unique and unlike many other places I’ve visited. As a graduate of BC, I’m very excited to have the opportunity to share my positive experience at Bridgewater with future BC Eagles and their families.
What advice do you have about the college search process?
It is never too early to start! As a junior in high school, you should begin searching for schools that fit you best on paper. Not only should you look for schools that can fulfill your academic interests, but also your interests outside of the classroom, whether it be sports, clubs, community involvement, etc. The next step is to start visiting; you want to be sure that the school you attend is a place you can be comfortable calling your home for 4 years! Lastly, ask questions, as an admissions counselor, I’m here to help you through the entire process and answer any questions that you may have.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I love seeing the excitement on prospective student’s faces when they visit our campus. When I meet with students and their families and they leave feeling more comfortable about the college search process, I know that I’ve done my part! I enjoy sharing my personal experiences at BC with prospective students and will be excited when they choose to become an Eagle!
