What brought you to BC?

After an extensive college search process, I narrowed my search down to visit my top two schools. I noticed something different about Bridgewater College and the atmosphere that its students possessed. The sense of community on campus is contagious and while visiting and touring the campus, I knew that Bridgewater would be my home for the next four years. Even after I started my time at Bridgewater as a student, I realized how similar that atmosphere was to when I visited.

What advice do you have about the college search process?

For those students who are beginning the process of applying and searching for a school to attend, I suggest to apply to as many schools as possible and pick your top schools. Once you complete that step, visit the schools at the top of your list. Visiting a school is the number one concept that all applicants must understand. While visiting a campus, don’t be afraid to ask questions to anyone you see on campus as well as your tour guide. Tour guides on our campus are students with real experiences and real emotions not scripted students.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a student get excited about higher education. As an admissions counselor I like to see students going to college, of course I would love for all of my students to go to Bridgewater College. However, I understand that this school is not for everyone, but there is a school out there for everyone.
