Academic Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen
Bridgewater College recognizes the academic achievements of incoming freshmen. Each year, the College commits significant institutional resources for grants and scholarships to assist students.
In order to be considered for these freshmen scholarships, students should:
- Apply to Bridgewater College early
- Submit their high school transcript and SAT/ACT test scores as soon as possible
President's Merit and ACE Scholarships
These freshmen scholarships are based on an applicant's academic performance in high school (public, private, or home schooled), ACT or SAT scores, class rank, and other factors from the applicant's record. The value of these freshmen scholarships range from $16,000 up to full-tuition and recipients who maintain an acceptable cumulative grade point average will retain their scholarships each academic year.
Church of the Brethren Scholarships
These freshmen scholarships are available to students who are members of the Church of the Brethren. Award amounts are $2,500 for residents and $1,500 for commuters.
