Readmission Requirements

A student who is absent from the College for a semester or longer, or one who has withdrawn from the College for any reason, voluntarily or involuntarily must apply for readmission.

Steps to Take for Readmission to Bridgewater College:

  1. Complete the application for readmission
  2. Mail the completed application to:

    Office of Admissions
    Bridgewater College
    402 East College Street
    Bridgewater, VA 22812-1599
  3. A completed application requires the following:

    • A signed readmission application and essay
    • Official transcript from all colleges attended since leaving Bridgewater College
    • Medical and Mental Health documentation (if required)
  4. Completed applications must be received by the following deadlines to be considered:

    • Fall semester, June 1
    • Spring semester, November 30
  5. Completed applications will be reviewed by the Readmissions Committee and you will be notified of the decision by letter from the Committee.
  6. If approved, you will be required to submit a $300 deposit within two weeks of approval. Submit deposit to:

  7. Any outstanding financial obligations to the College must be satisfied prior to application. Please contact the finance office at 540-828-5394 if you have questions regarding your account status.
