Alumni Spotlight | Andrew Grossnickle ’02
Andrew Grossnickle ’02
Andrew Grossnickle graduated from Bridgewater College in 2002, but he continues to treasure his education and the friends he made while at Bridgewater. Growing up in Frederick Church of the Brethren in Frederick, Md., Grossnickle attended district youth events on campus and decided to attend the College due to his awareness of the school and the financial aid package he received.
“The small size of my accounting classes and other business classes made it easier for me, not only to have access to my professors, but also to work with my fellow classmates,” he said. Grossnickle interned with the accounting firm of Robinson, Farmer, Cox and Associates (RFC) between his junior and senior years and accepted a full-time position with the firm after graduation.
In 2006, he moved to Fredericksburg, Va., to help open a new regional office for RFC. A certified public accountant, he earned a master of accounting with a concentration in forensic accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 2011.
Now a partner with the firm, Grossnickle was named to the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Top 5 Under 35 in 2014. He currently serves on the BC Alumni Association Board of Directors and regularly attends Homecoming and other alumni events. He lives in Fredericksburg with his wife Anna, son James and daughter Elizabeth.
