Alumni Spotlight | Jill Early ’91
Jill Early ’91
Jill Early was always aware of Bridgewater College, as an area native and daughter of a 1965 graduate. She chose to attend because “Bridgewater College provided all of the opportunities I was looking for,” including involvement in sports and student organizations and flexibility in taking classes outside her major.
After graduation in 1991, Early started her career as a laboratory technician for a pharmaceutical company. She became immersed in the details quality assurance and regulatory compliance, especially in the manufacturing of blood products and medical devices. She obtained her master’s degree in engineering from Lehigh University in 2000 and holds several professional certifications in her field. Currently, she works for McKesson, managing their quality assurance system.
Her community involvement includes being a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of her church choir, as well as participating in a co-ed volleyball league. She is an active member of the BC Alumni Association board of directors and comes back to campus for events such as Eagles We-Haul and Career Exploration Day.
Early said, “In my day-to-day interaction with a variety of customers, service providers and community activities, there is always a connection to Bridgewater, whether I am working with a Bridgewater graduate, a parent or relative of a graduate, or a friend or relative of a current student. The Bridgewater community reaches far beyond the boundaries of campus.”
