The college recognizes that our health plans have to do more than just "fix us" when we're sick. It is imperative that we give equal emphasis to the prevention of illness. One of our new challenges for 2012 is to provide employees with the tools, knowledge, and support to become healthy - and stay health.

NEW On-site Health Educator on Campus
We are pleased to introduce Mary VanNortwick, MS RD, who will provide on-site and telephonic support to employees who are participants in the Bridgewater College voluntary wellness incentive plan.
The health educator services are a free and convenient health resource that may address many health related issues such as:
- Blood Pressure
- Diabetes
- Cholesterol
- Weight Management
- Nutrition
- Tobacco Cessation
She can also provide the following services:
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Review Personal Health Evaluation results
- Review Health Life Plan
- Establish personal health goals
- Nutritional and physical activity advice

Weight Watchers At Work
Come join our Weight Watchers at Work Group on Campus. Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays, from 11 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. in McKinney Room 333. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend.
