Obtaining a degree in Communication Studies prepares students for an array of career pathways. Students can choose two different concentrations: Public Relations and Mass Media, if they wish to focus more specifically on certain areas of communication studies. There is also a minor in theatre available through the communication studies department. Whether a person aspires to be an anchor for a television station or to work on Capitol Hill, a degree in communication studies can provide the foundation for a successful career.
