Bridgewater College seeks an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, specializing in physical chemistry, for a tenure-track position to begin August, 2015.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach lecture and laboratories in general and physical chemistry, as well as participating in undergraduate research.
A commitment to the liberal arts mission and teaching excellence is essential, as is participation in our first-year seminar program. A candidate with 1-5 years of experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. A Ph.D. in chemistry is required by the date of appointment.
Bridgewater offers bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in more than 60 majors and minors, along with multiple areas of emphasis and concentrations, pre-professional programs such as medicine and law, dual degree programs and teacher certification.
