BC Inducts Students into Philomathes Society

Bridgewater College inducted sophomores, juniors and seniors into the Philomathes Society, the College’s scholastic honor society, during a ceremony on Oct. 8.
The Philomathes Society encourages scholarly effort and honors students, faculty members and alumni who have achieved unusual distinction in the pursuit of knowledge. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
Dr. Michele Strano, assistant professor of communication studies, serves as faculty adviser for Bridgewater’s Philomathes Society.
