BC Inducts13 into ODK National Leadership Honor Society
Bridgewater College recently inducted 13 students into Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a national leadership honor society.
To be eligible for membership, students must be undergraduate juniors or seniors with a grade point average of 3.0 or above, graduate students, members of the faculty and administration or alumni.
Qualifications for membership include exemplary character, responsible leadership and service in campus or community life, superior scholarship, genuine fellowship and dedication to democratic ideals.
ODK was founded on Dec. 3, 1914, at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. Since its founding, ODK has initiated over 300,000 members.
Inducted at Bridgewater College were:
Kelsey Elise Adams, a senior biology major with a minor in chemistry, from Winchester, Va.;
Malinda Britt, a senior Spanish and sociology double major, with a minor in cultural studies, from Roanoke, Va.;
Bethany Faye Dunlap, a senior English major, from Fredericksburg, Va.;
Joel Francis, a senior history major from Woodbridge, Va.;
Brea Hinegardner, a senior business administration major with a minor in art, from Woodstock, Va.;
Janell Joyner, a senior computer science major with a minor in mathematics, from Abingdon, Md.;
Chelsea H. Kimlel, a junior business administration major, from Spotsylvania, Va.;
Tyler Limbrick, a senior history and political science major, from Fredericksburg, Va.;
Joseph M. Macklin, a senior political science major, from Newport News, Va.;
Kevin Maenz, a senior international studies major, from Stafford, Va.;
Christopher Michael, a junior art major, from Mount Solon, Va.;
Rachael Sloan, a senior liberal studies major, from Roanoke, Va.; and
Katie Smith, a senior English major, from Copper Hill, Va.
