About BCSHRM


  • During the academic year 2009-2010, BC SHRM earned the Superior Merit Award, with a total of 42 points!


      BC SHRM is Bridgewater College's student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, a national organization dedicated to the advancement of the Human Resource profession around the world. As a student chapter of an organization of almost 150,000 HR professionals, our purpose is to prepare our members for a career involving HR management. Through the help of Shenandoah Valley SHRM, our sponsoring professional chapter, we provide members with insight into the real world of Human Resources Management through workshops, seminars, company tours, and speakers.
