Dining Services Frequently Asked Questions
What is “unlimited access”?
All resident dining meal plans include unlimited access to the Kline Campus Center. This means that you can visit the Kline Campus Center as many times as you would like each and every day. There are no limitations to the number of meals you can have per semester!
Can I bring a guest with me into the Kline Campus Center?
Absolutely. You can bring a guest by paying cash, using the guest passes included with your plan or using your Dining Dollars.
What are Dining Dollars?
Each semester, every student with an Eagle or Eagle Elite meal plan receives a specified amount of Dining Dollars. They may be used to make purchases in the Crimson Café or to buy a guest a meal in the Kline Campus Center. At the end of each year, unused Dining Dollars are forfeited. Additional Dining Dollars can be purchased at any time throughout the year.
What is the “Take 5” program?
As a convenient alternative to the Kline Campus Center dining hall at breakfast or lunch, guests with Crimson meal plans are welcome to visit our “Take 5” station in the Crimson Café and select 5 items from that area to be used as an exchange for their meal in the dining hall.
What if I have special dietary restrictions or a food allergy?
The dining services staff is specially trained to provide a variety of options for every diet, including lactose-intolerant, gluten-free and vegetarian. Both vegan and vegetarian options are offered at every meal in the Kline Campus Center dining hall and at the Crimson Café.
Are there going to be special events during the semester?
Yes, we will present special offerings and themed meals every month.
